Now Enrolling: Skills Plus Second Round - Limited Places Available!

Updated: May 12

Discover the Benefits of Skills Plus

Following the success of our pilot program, we’re excited to announce that the second round of our Skills Plus program will commence on Monday, 11th May. This program has limited places available, so don't miss your chance to participate!

Skills Plus is a comprehensive 12-week program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of each participant’s daily and workplace support needs. We take a tailored approach, combining practical, personal, and workplace assessments with targeted support. This helps us identify individual strengths and the specific supports required for success.

Hands-On Learning Experience

Participants will engage in hands-on learning across key areas, including Safe Work Practices, Timber Manufacturing, Wine Production Services, and Logistics. This experience builds the skills and confidence needed to transition into roles within the broader local workforce.

Formal workplace assessments are conducted using evidence-based methods. We aim to understand each participant’s skills and support needs thoroughly. Through structured observation, task-based activities, and validated tools, participants receive ongoing, personalized support. These assessments inform individual skill development plans, workplace adjustments, and clear pathways toward open employment.

Commitment to Growth

We invite participants to commit to the Skills Plus program by attending two days per week over 12 weeks. During this time, you will build a practical portfolio of skills, support, and opportunity.

Skills Plus is funded through the Structural Adjustment Fund (SAF), an Australian Government initiative that supports the evolution of the supported employment sector. The program aims to create greater access to job opportunities, training, and pathways into open employment for people with disabilities.
