Local Support, Strong Governance and Community at Heart

When choosing disability support, it’s important to know more than simply what services are available. You also want to know who is behind those services, what they stand for, and whether they are committed to your community for the long term.

At Barossa Enterprises, we are proud to be a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with disability across the Barossa and surrounding regions.

Our mission is simple: Providing life-long support options to live well and be your best.

What being not-for-profit means to us

Being a not-for-profit organisation means our purpose comes first.

We are here to create positive outcomes for the people we support and the communities in which we live and work.

Our focus is on delivering quality services, creating opportunities and continuing to strengthen the supports available to people with disability in our region.

For participants and families, this means choosing an organisation that is focused on making a positive difference close to home.

Strong governance behind our support

Good support also requires strong foundations.

Governance plays an important role in ensuring Barossa Enterprises operates responsibly, remains accountable and continues to make decisions that support our values, vision and mission.

It helps guide how we manage our organisation, our responsibilities and our resources while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and the people who access our services.

For participants and families, strong governance provides confidence that there are clear responsibilities and processes behind the support they receive.

Support that starts with you

While strong systems are important, great support should always feel personal.

Every person has different goals, strengths, interests and support needs. That's why we take the time to listen and understand what matters to you.

Your goals might include finding a job, developing new skills, becoming more independent, meeting new people or becoming more involved in your local community.

Whatever you're working towards, our role is to support you to take steps towards it.

It's not about fitting you into a program. It's about understanding where you want to go and exploring how we can help you get there.

Local knowledge. Local relationships.

Living in a regional community has many advantages, but accessing the right opportunities and supports close to home can sometimes be challenging.

That's why being local matters.

Our connections throughout the Barossa region help us understand the communities we serve and the opportunities available within them.

From relationships with local employers and businesses to community organisations, schools, families and other services, these connections can help create pathways for people to participate, contribute and feel a greater sense of belonging.

We believe the people we support should have the opportunity to pursue their goals, build connections and create a secure future right here in the communities they call home.
