McIntyre Award

The McIntyre Award encourages people with disability to be actively involved in the community. To be nominated for the award, a person must participate in their community or undertake self development that supports their wider community engagement. It is a monetary award that is presented annually.

The award is named after Angus McIntyre who sadly passed away in 2004. It was Angus’ request that his estate donate to Barossa Enterprises in support of our service and in support of greater independence for participants. Angus’ wife , Ruth McIntyre continues this legacy, establishing an onsite gym and through the annual McIntyre Award. The award encourages people to have a go and get involved in their community. Thank you to the McIntyre family for your support and for encouraging people to develop as individuals. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1484638241829{padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”145″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” css_animation=””][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”275″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_single_image image=”277″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_single_image image=”276″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1464662443972{padding-top: 80px !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 80px !important;padding-left: 10% !important;}”][vc_column_text]

Gemeinshcaft Volunteer Project

Gemeinschaft – is a literal translation for ‘community’ in German. It describes a community united by common interests, personal or family ties. It’s a term which describes those old fashioned, often rural close knit communities where everyone works together to support each other in business and daily life. In a positive sense, each person’s business is everyone’s business, so the community works together to support a successful outcome.
Barossa Enterprises sees Volunteers as members of the team and workforce.

Sponsorship

Barossa Enterprises values the support of our sponsors.

The Ahrens Group have sponsored Barossa Enterprises since the opening of the new premises. Over the years this sponsorship has contributed to new machinery, training and support for the Social Club Camp.

The local COOP store is an icon of the Barossa Community. Barossa Enterprises share an excellent relationship with the store and its members. This year the COOP confirmed sponsorship for the COOP achievement award. This is an incentive program that encourages supported employees to lead by example, help their fellow workers and try and develop new skills.

If you would like to become a corporate sponsor or support our programs please contact the Marketing Manager on 8562 4855 or karina.piro@barossaent.com.au[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1484638225056{padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;background-color: #ffffff !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”272″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” qode_css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1466728122967{border-bottom-width: 4px !important;padding-top: 40px !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 10% !important;border-bottom-color: #83bb26 !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}” link=”http://www.ahrens.com.au/”][vc_single_image image=”273″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” qode_css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1466728149460{padding-top: 40px !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 80px !important;padding-left: 10% !important;}” link=”http://barossa.coop/”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
